Denver is one of the fastest growing cities in the U.S. As part of a comprehensive solution for sustainable growth in the metro area, Revesco Properties has begun planning a bold new urban district that will eventually occupy the current site of the Elitch Gardens amusement park. Strada has helped Revesco shape the vision and identity of this mixed-use, mixed-income “new city neighborhood” – by naming it The River Mile, celebrating its active, mile-long frontage on the South Platte River, and positioning it as a model of conscientious planning, design and environmental revitalization. Following a rigorous review process, the plan will come to life deliberately and incrementally, in several phases, over two to three decades.
